Capital Smart City Is Biggest ECO Friendly City Of Pakistan

Capital Smart City is Pakistan's first smart city. Its goal is to offer residents the greatest and healthiest living possible. Capital Smart metropolis, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the metropolis, is devoted to maintaining a high-quality of environment. To that end, their primary concern in planning and developing the project is to avoid disturbing the environment. It has also set aside more than 30% of the overall land for green spaces and topography. That is why it is known as Pakistan's most eco-friendly metropolis.

Horticulture Department

Capital Smart City has its own Horticulture Department. This section is in charge of planting throughout the project. While speaking with a Lion Group official, the horticulture department spokesman stated that they employ a specific design of plantation. For example, in residential areas, plants are seeded in a different pattern than in commercial areas.

Nursery

The nursery is the first such development in Capital Smart City. It began in September of 2018 and was completed in November. It starts with 50 to 60 thousand plants at first. However, as time passes, the capacity grows. Currently, the nursery houses around 300,000 plants. Several of which are imported from other countries.

According to the nursery's director, Capital Smart City planners believe in self-sufficiency and independence. The primary goal of constructing a nursery was to grow plants for our own project beautification. So that we don't have to acquire from outside plants. Currently, the plants at the nursery range from ornamental to seasonal.

Theme Parks

Capital Smart City is based on a community idea. Each community has its own centre park, business district, and other amenities. It has a lot of theme parks named after flowers. For example, in the Hills neighborhood, there will be a culinary park that will be one of a kind. There will be edible plants, fruits, and herbs in this park. Similarly, Tranquilly Park provides tourists with a serene and peaceful environment.  There are a lot of additional parks like these that contribute to the fresh and natural atmosphere of the smart city.

 

The 18-hole golf course is another significant success in making the city more environmentally friendly. Capital Smart City will become an ideal location where you may live the life you truly deserve.
